We enjoyed a VERY nice surprise on Christmas Eve when it began snowing... and snowing... and SNOWING! What a wonderful blessing it was to have our very first White Christmas in Texas! It truly made Christmas so special. 
Here's a picture taken from Frank's balcony before the sun went down. It doesn't really show much, just a glimpse of the gorgeous, white backdrop to our family Christmas celebration.

The kids had a great time and while we were inside enjoying the warmth and company, it continued to snow. We went home that evening with several inches of snow on the ground and woke up on Christmas morning to a Winter Wonderland!
