The Winds of Change Are A-Blowin'....

.... and I'm not just talking about the changing of the seasons (although, I am LOVING this fall weather)!

Things have been busy around here the past couple of weeks (to say the least)! The week we returned from San Antonio, we received an offer on the house (in case I forgot to mention, we put our house on the market back in July). Well, we're now under contract and are set to close at the end of this month (October 29th to be exact).

So, where are you moving? This is obviously the most popular question everyone asks right now and boy, I wish I had an answer! We had been looking at homes during the time ours had been listed and we had it narrowed down to our top three. We patiently waited for an offer on our house before making an offer on one for ourselves. Well, by the time we accepted the offer on our home, our top three already had contracts on them! Whoa, okay God, what's up? It's been a very interesting couple of weeks as we continually question God ("What's next for us?," "Where are you leading?," etc.), listening intently and waiting patiently for answers.

This week of looking has been almost comical! Get this, literally every address I sent to my realtor that we were interested in seeing had a roadblock of some kind (contract, shortsale, contract, contract). So we don't know what is going on!

Our plan as of this moment (since it has changed more times than I care to count) is to wait until next week to see a list of foreclosures that is supposedly coming out. If we don't find some kind of smokin' awesome deal on the "perfect" house for our family, we will probably pursue building another house (we built our first home) and look for a rental property to live in during the process (fun!).
