Family Evening at the Gaylord Texan

This evening, we drove out to Grapevine to visit the always-beautifully-decorated Gaylord Texan Resort. Grammy (my mom) joined us, as well as my cousin, Traci, her husband, Rob, and their precious 2-month-old baby boy, Evan! We had a very enjoyable time just wandering around checking out all the beautiful sights.
Here are the kids with Grammy at home before we got dressed to go (Tori's got a BAD case of "bed-head." This just cracked me up, I thought it was too funny not to share!)

The kids really enjoyed it this year! Of course, they were way too small last year to know anything...
...but tonight they were just mesmerized by all the lights and trains. At one point, Tanner was walking down one of the sidewalks just pointing in all directions at everything. He was so excited, he didn't know what to point at! So cute!
And here we are this year... same spot, same kids, just a little bigger!

It was fun to have them walking all around this year, exploring anything that caught their eye. This age is so precious, just watching the wonderment and awe on their faces as they discover the world around them. (Oh Lord, pleeeeease can I freeze them like this forever?!?!?!!! Please?!?!?!!)

Daddy and his girl
Awwwww.... so sweet
See what I mean? Simply fascinated!
Another family shot

The Cousins and their cuties (minus one)!
My Boys
Mommy and her girl (who's actually reaching for Daddy in this picture! I tell ya what, she LOVES her daddy!)

So, that was our fun family outing! We hope you're all enjoying this cold, Christmassy (can I make that an adjective?) weather. It certainly feels more like Christmastime today! Better enjoy it though, because it's supposed to be 70 degrees on Christmas day! (*Sigh*), only in Texas....
