Finally Together!!!

Tanner and Tori were finally put in the same bed today and seemed to really be enjoying it! Tanner is up to 4 lbs., 2.9 oz. and Tori is up to 3 lbs., 11 oz. so they're continuing to grow and put on weight every day which is definitely what we want to see! They are both still on nasal cannulas (which you can see in the pictures). Tori is just breathing room air with no flow or oxygen support while Tanner is still requiring between 28-32% oxygen and is on a 2.5 liter flow, which is a fairly strong flow. We're praying that his lungs and breathing will get stronger soon so he can come off the extra support. The nurses tell us this is pretty typical with white male preemies. They tend to be the slowest in developing. He is also having a little trouble with reflux, which is very common in preemies, so they are keeping him elevated on his right side.
