Christmas Day 2008

The Ball Family (Mom's tired, Tanner wants down to play with his new toys, Tori is trying to escape Mom's lap, and Dad's just enjoying it all!)

What a wonderful Christmas morning we had with our little reindeer and snowman. It was too much fun to see their faces light up at the sight of all their new toys! This Christmas thing is too much fun with little ones, and I can see how it will just get better and better as they get older!
Little Snowman Boy and Reindeer Girl (they kept looking at their feet wondering what those things were on them, but boy were they cute in their Christmas jammies!)

"Look Tanner! Santa left us a barn!"
"Yes, and a house! Look, you can even ring the doorbell!"
"Wow! This is so much fun!"
Peekaboo! Tori likes making the animals pop out on this toy.

Oooh, blocks! Santa left these for Tanner, but they were a hit with sister too!
Uncle Chris helping them with a toy
This ride-on zebra was a BIG HIT with both kids... good job, Santa! ;)
Look at that GRIN... she was THRILLED!!!
Tanner was so proud of himself for climbing onto the zebra all by himself!

After all the excitement of opening gifts and playing with our new toys, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my mom, brother and great aunt Mary. Mom cooked a nice roast with potatoes and carrots (we decided to go for untraditional and easy this year). After lunch, we packed up the car and the kids and hit the road for our long road trip to Denver to stay with my dad and stepmom for two nights.

More to come...
